Terms of Service

Scan'n'plate (scan-n-plate.com) is a web app for managing establishment menus: creating establishments, menus, categories, prices, contacts, opening hours, and photo uploads. Using the service (signing in with Google, creating and editing content) means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy (scan-n-plate.com/privacy).

Registration is only via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for any activity under your account on Scan'n'plate.

Account and data deletion is not available in the app; you can request deletion by writing to letter@scan-n-plate.com.

Post only lawful content and do not violate applicable law. You must have rights to everything you upload (text, images); do not upload others' materials without permission.

Prohibited: spam, automated data collection without permission, circumventing access controls, attacks on infrastructure, malicious code, content that infringes third-party rights.

Published establishments are accessible to everyone via link; establishment contacts (phone, email, etc.) become public.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Scan'n'plate a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and technically process that content to operate the service (including hosting, backup, translation via DeepL when enabled).

Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP only; maximum file size 5 MB. We may remove or hide content that violates these terms or applicable law. The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or completeness of data.

You may stop using the service at any time; data deletion is by request to letter@scan-n-plate.com. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, when required by law, or to protect the service; we will give notice where reasonably possible.

The service is provided as is; we disclaim all warranties (including fitness for a particular purpose). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental damages or data loss arising from use of the service. You are responsible for your content and for any loss caused by its violation of these terms or third-party rights.

We may change these terms. The current version is at scan-n-plate.com/terms; the update date is shown at the bottom. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version. Questions: letter@scan-n-plate.com.
